Past Times & Present Tents
Saturday 3 Oct 2015 at 7:30 PM
An evening written and directed by two talented local lads who used to be members of our youth theatre. First Act: This play, written by Elliott Williams & Luke Bateman, is about a group of post A-Level students going on a camping holiday in Northern France, before they all go off to university. It is a comedy-drama and presents themes on modern day issues affecting teenagers. There's Tom, a keen traveller, Reece, the youngest member of the group and a hot-headed loud mouth, Tori, a do-gooder who aims to please everyone, Joel, a natural leader, and Erika, a quirky arts student. They all have hidden truths which threaten to unravel as the night wears on. Second Act: A series of original comedy sketches and songs, ranging from a fraud séance and an Alcoholics Anonymous session for retired TV characters through to parodies including 'The Great British Bake Off' and 'Match Of the Day'. |
Please note, there will be explicit language of an adult nature and parental guidance is advised when booking.
