Flora Thompson is best known as the author of Lark Rise to Candleford, now regarded as a classic of rural observation.

But she didn’t write the book until she was in her 60s.

This year is the 150th anniversary of her birth. This play, written by local Historian John Owen Smith, covers the years that Flora lived and worked locally.
